Tony Wroten, Brandon Davies out
(AP) |
Both sustained injuries Saturday at Chicago.
Wroten, pictured, is out with a right ankle sprain, for which he was receiving treatment in pregame. With swelling and the pain level below where the Sixers thought they'd be, Sixers coach Brett Brown said Wroten may not miss as much time as previously believed.
“He goes
through all the recovery stuff and lives in that recovery boot and gets the
treatment – the repetitive treatment," Brown said. He’s been real good trying to stay on it,
but it could linger for a while."
Davies, who is not with the team, has a dislocated finger on his right hand. He's believed to be in Philadelphia, having the injury evaluated.
“It’s a finger problem that we’re
learning more about," Brown said. "It’s a little bit vague because that’s the way we’ve been advised
to talk about it. We really just don’t know enough about it right now."
