The 76ers' D-League affiliate, the Delaware 87ers, acquired the rights to 16 players Thursday via the D-League Expansion Draft, including one with local ties.
Temple product Ramone Moore is among the players picked up by the 87ers, who will begin their first season in the NBA's D-League this season.
Every
D-League team was able to protect the rights to a dozen players and, from the
unprotected players, the Sevens were allowed to pluck players. However, the
Sevens were limited to two players per D-League team. And of the 16 taken by
the Sevens, seven have played in the NBA.
